Silly weblog title. Anyways...

As you probably noticed, I just had a few weeks of downtime. The reason for that consists of two things. I did too many commissions and ended up stressing myself. I figured I'd take a day or two off, but then realized my preorder of Warhammer Online had arrived. I was going to start playing that with a friend, but I ended up playing more than that. My friend's online pals formed a guild in the game. I tagged along, they joined another guild, and I'm still tagging along. The game basically ate almost two weeks of time from me. I'm currently a Rank 33 Bright Wizard. However, as you can see from the Halloween Love Witch pic I submitted yesterday, I don't play the game quite as feverishly anymore. I'm slowly trying to get back to art stuff now. Still got some commissions to finish, so those will take priority.

Second thing I wanted to discuss with you guys is the Halloween Love Witch, or more precisely the character herself. For a while now I've been planning on making a recurring OC that I can use in any community stuff. I know, I know, I have plenty of OC's in my galleries, but nearly all of them are still part of long series of images, rather than making casual and varied appearances. Those OC's that do make appearances don't make them in more than couple of pictures. The Halloween Love Witch girl is pretty much a combination of my favorite attributes. Pigtails, big boobs, big eyes, playful attitude, likes to wear weird costumes, etc. Would she make a good recurring OC? There are two things I'd mainly like some opinions on. Should her hair remain blonde (not my favorite hair colour), and if not, then what colour would you suggest? Should she be a witch by default? And with that I mean should her modest costume be simply the same clothes as in the halloween pic, except with something to cover her strategic spots? She could also be just a 'Love Witch', and her normal costume isn't as halloween-ish as here, but she'd still have a witch costume.

By all means, share your ideas. I haven't even started to think a name for her yet, but if she seems popular then I'd better get started.

That was one great week
Last week was pretty awesome altogether. The 'Girl Party' picture I submitted here on hArtists was a success. I think it has the most faves out of the works in my gallery. In addition to that, I hit 1 million pageviews on my deviantart page (don't know where? see FAQ below, first link), and the pic I submitted last night to celebrate that seems to be popular too. In addition to that, I heard that I should have some work for the coming weeks, so I don't need to worry about money for the next month or two.

This week is looking a bit stressful though. Work, errands, meetings, commissions... I don't get to play much games or do art of my own, other than the commissions, but I'll try. Kinda good that none of the games I have recently ordered, or been sent, haven't arrived yet. Odd that all of them seem delayed, even though they come from different places. Wouldn't be good if they never arrived, so although it's good that they're not here to tempt me, I'm worried I'll never receive them. @_o; So yeah, stressful week ahead. But I'm gonna survive! *starts working* Let's get 'em stuffs done!

Busy-ish
Been busy lately, as I got some work for the time being. Also, got some commissions lined up. Need to work on those too when I have a chance. ^^;

So, no new stuff for a while I'm afraid, but I do keep my mind occupied with ideas, so that when I have a proper moment to make something...

If you want to go into details or post critique in your comments, please register an art appreciator account. I don't much value feedback from people who don't even bother registering an identity.

Also, if you want to critique, then please first check if the submission has 'Critique requested' tag enabled. That means the artist is asking for critique. Otherwise they most likely don't care. And hey, look at that. I don't have it enabled on any of my works. So there.

Secondly, if you insist on leaving critique, at least bother reading BOTH the description of the image, and comments left by others, so you know what the image is really about, and what others have already pointed out. Trying to act like you know a whole lot while not paying attention to others doesn't really make you look smart, now does it? I tend to delete such comments.

Also, no trolling, mocking and insulting, thanks.

AUGUST NEWS
Just a random update. Nothing special to say really. No plans for any new art right now, but I'm ready to accept some new commissions. NEWS
I'm back from the short roadtrip (see my previous weblog entry), which was actually a day shorter, but still fun, or rather refreshing. Just driving around the countryside, doing sightseeing and setting up instant BBQ sets at the roadside to barbeque sausages. xP Also did a lot of photographing, visited a zoo (or rather an animal park), and ate a nice steak at a restaurant. Fun traveling with no alcohol or partying involved. That's what I like. ^w^

As you might have noticed, I finished the Aurica Wallpaper. I probably won't have anything to upload for a little while now, a week or two, as I'm concentrating on other projects and work. Anyways, I'm thinking about doing more of these fanart wallpapers, though as a moderator I don't want to go too much against the purpose of this site, which is to create original content, rather than fanart. I don't want to set a bad example, lol. xP There's a lot of original banging going on in my galleries though, so some fanart should be fine. Not that I have much plans on what characters to use anyways, but there's more sexy gals I like in Ar Tonelico (like Spica and Claire), which I could draw more. ^_~ We'll see...

I'll be out of touch from Wednesday to Friday. Goin' on a little roadtrip around the country with my father. A compulsory once-a-year father-son thingie we've been doing the last few years. Usually it's just one or two days, but this time three. I might have access to internet at some point, but it's uncertain yet. If I do, I might pop in to check messages and say something stupid on the oneliner at some point. Other than that, expect me to return to business on Saturday. Gonna finish the Aurica Wallpaper then, probably. ;P

NEWS
Artist's block can be a bitch. Haven't drawn anything for like... err... four or five days. Been too busy with other stuff to be able to concentrate. T_T

BUT! I know it's just temporary, it always is. Usually when I post about an artist's block, the next day I'm already doodling again. xP I'm expecting to return to business in a few days.

In the meantime, feel free to share ideas for stuff like Bang Gang sets, Playmates etc. Maybe something catches my fancy and ignites my art spirit back on fire! >o< And no, this doesn't mean I'm taking requests. Just suggestions and ideas.

I've been playing plenty of games lately, which is one reason I've been busy (The other is chores and errands IRL). I just finished playing King's Bounty. xD A really old DOS game on PC. The predecessor of the Heroes of Might & Magic series. I heard there's a remake of it coming (not translated to English yet), which made me want to finish the original, as I've never done so before. Still a fun game that one. Works on WinXP btw. You can download it on a website called Abandonia. Google it up! The PC speaker sounds can be disabled in the game, so don't worry about the initial horror of 'em. xD I disabled some of the sounds and listened to Gregorian on WinAmp while playing the game. xD Fits the mood nicely. ^^ Another game I've been playing on and off for a month or so is Soul Nomad & The World Eaters on PS2. Going through third cycle now. Please DON'T post spoilers if you've played past the main story!!! I want to discover bonus stuff and alternate endings on my own. ^^ I hate FAQs and walkthroughs and stuff. Completely ruins the fun on discovering things. Oh, right, and I also finished Chrome: SpecForce on PC. Bought it from a bargain bin for like 4.99€ or something. Crappy gameplay, cliché story, but for that price a fun first-person shooter for couple of evenings. Ok, enough gaming babble for now. :P

Harmonist11 is my artist name on the hentai scene, while HitmanN is my user and artist name everywhere else. I've been keeping a low profile about this, because people tend to think that once an artist has drawn porn somewhere, everything they make everywhere else is porn too, which obviously isn't the case. People on hArtists are obviously fine with the art HitmanN does, but many people on deviantART wouldn't be happy to see what Harmonist11 does, so that scene doesn't need to know about this stuff. If they find out some way (like the ED article about me), then so be it. I'm not hiding the hentai stuff. I'm just not talking about it where it's not needed, and I wish the same co-operation from my watchers/fans.

So, what I'm trying to say is, feel free to talk about HitmanN on hArtists or other hentai communities. But please don't talk about HitmanN and Harmonist11 as same person on deviantART. Any comments about Harmonist11 or hArtists on my deviantART pages will be hidden. Simple and fair enough, right?

So, if you like Harmonist11's stuff, go and enjoy HitmanN's gallery too.
